There’s something comforting about settling down for a film with a big bowl of popcorn and nowhere else you need to be.
The lights go down, the world gets a little quieter, and for a couple of hours you can switch off from everything else. It’s such an ordinary ritual, but those moments of escape can mean so much when life, and your body, can feel overwhelming.
Movie Night is about that feeling of pressing pause on everything else and allowing yourself a little time to simply enjoy something.
The Little Things is a series about finding joy in the ordinary moments that can mean so much when you live with chronic illness. The small comforts, simple pleasures and fleeting moments of happiness that remind us that even on the difficult days, there are still little things worth celebrating.
